TUI CU Hit 90% Online Membership
in February 2021 TUI Credit Union launched the Integrated Biometric Member Onboarding from Progress having previously used a non integrated option. Since the February launch, they have now reached a substantial milestone with 90% of all Membership Applications coming through their new Digital Channel.
The Integrated Biometric member Onboarding from Progress has allowed any potential member of TUI Credit Union complete a full application remotely, including the ability to receive their membership details once approved directly to their mobile through Push Notification, make a payment online using their debit card directly in to their new account and apply for a digital loan. This has allowed TUI Credit Union create a truly frictionless member experience and also saved the staff of the credit union at least 30 minutes per membership application through the removal of any rekeying of data or manual intervention.
Using a biometric scan of the applicants ID and a liveness (selfie) image the member experience is quick and efficient, while providing a fully integrated and compliant digital channel for the Credit Union.
Progress partnered with Jumio Inc., the global leader in online biometric verification, using API technology to combine the more than 30 years of Credit Union knowledge and experience within Progress with the market leading digital experience of Jumio, to create a digital member onboarding product that will benefit Credit Unions for years to come.
