Integrated Biometric Member Onboarding

Integrated Biometric Member Onboarding is a key element of our digital service offering to Credit Unions, and allows new members to complete a full membership application including having their proof of ID Biometrically validated and if successful, they can be issued with a member number and a PIN number for full online access using text and Push Notification technology. With full online access the new member can make an online debit card payment or immediately apply for a loan digitally, and all without the need to come near the credit union offices.

The Online Membership brings a high level of efficiency and cost effectiveness to the whole Credit Union membership process.

Launched in late 2020, we have over 10 Credit Unions using it by the end of Q1 2021 and will have over 50 Credit Unions using it by the end of 2021.

Progress have partnered with Jumio who are the global leader in digital biometric ID verification and this API partnership combined with our knowledge of Credit Unions, allows Progress offer the most secure, convenient and effective digital member onboarding on the market.
